Transfer Application & Pressing Instructions

Hello! As of October 2022 we have switched to a newer formula for our full color screen print transfers. This formula is a lower heat application that produces vivid colors and offers an easy press while keeping that soft and flexible feel we all love! Our older high heat formula is still a great press and produces the same soft feel but we decided to switch to a lower heat application to make it easier to press single colors and full colors together! Your order may contain our older high heat screens and newer low heat screens so please check the titles of the products you ordered on your packing slip or on our website to make sure you are using the right application for the screens you ordered! Instructions are below for the different transfers we offer!

>>Single Color Screen Print Transfers

No Teflon Sheets, Covers or Pillows. For best results please make sure to check heat press temperature for accuracy with a heat gun.

Apply at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-10 seconds at high pressure.

Peel transfer slowly by corner to ensure adherence. Shirt fibers should be visible through design with proper application.

>> New *Low Heat* Full Color Screen Print Transfers

No Teflon Sheets, Covers or Pillows. For best results please make sure to check heat press temperature for accuracy with a heat gun.

LOW Heat Application - Press at 300-325 degrees for 7-10 seconds with heavy pressure.

*Material Note:
300˚F recommended for 100% Polyester materials
325˚F recommended for 100% Cotton, Cotton/Poly Blend materials

**Application Note: Always peel slowly from one corner. If transfer is not adhering double check your pressure and lay the paper back down, bump up the temperature 5-10 degrees and press again. If screen print color looks faded or “blown out” temperature is too high. Shirt fibers should be visible through design with proper application. Some presses will have a sweet spot that will be much different than standard recommendations. You may need to play around a little to find your sweet spot so ordering an extra full color to cut up and use as a tester is recommended to avoid ruining a shirt or wasting a transfer.

>> Old *High Heat* Full Color Screen Print Transfers

No Teflon Sheets, Covers or Pillows. For best results please make sure to check heat press temperature for accuracy with a heat gun.

Apply at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-10 seconds at high pressure.

Peel transfer slowly by corner to ensure adherence. Shirt fibers should be visible through design with proper application.

>>DTF (Direct To Film) Transfers **COLD PEEL**

Set your heat press to 280 degrees and press your shirt to remove wrinkles and moisture for 10-15 seconds.

Lay transfer on shirt, cover with a cover sheet (parchment paper) and using medium pressure press at 280 degrees for 15-20 seconds.

***If the transfer has lots of fine detail, use heavy pressure while pressing***

**COLD PEEL** Wait until the transfer is completely cooled off and then remove the film.

Place shirt back under the heat press, cover with cover sheet, and press at 280 degrees for 5 seconds.
